I’ve published over 130 bylined articles in outlets such as The Costco Connection, Newsday, The Christian Science Monitor, Smithsonian.com, On Wisconsin, District Administration, Folks, Highlights for Children, and elsewhere. For five years, I covered small business for Touchpoint Media. I have won the APEX Grand Award and seven Awards For Publication Excellence. I’m also an established sales and marketing copywriter.

What can I bring to you?

I have never missed a deadline in my career and I follow editorial directions faithfully. I strive to write conversationally, hook the reader early, and use specific details to make a story come alive. I am good at research and at putting people at ease in interviews. I love to present ideas in lively, dramatic ways. To that end, I won the 2004 Great American Think-Off, a philosophy competition open to the public.

Why do I write?

I believe that everyone has an interesting story to tell. It is my responsibility and my pleasure to report those stories with fairness, honesty, accuracy, and style.
